Hi! Welcome to the home of the Association of redclaw farmers in Queensland and adjoining states.
The QCFA is the parent body of 4 affiliated regional associations.
Its charter is to:
Address common problems of all branch associations
Present a united front to Government and other authorities
Promote the Redclaw Crayfish nationally and Internationally
Our site will endeavour to assist prospective farmers and buyers; investors and educators; hobbyists and bankers; researchers and the curious, by providing basic facts about our industry and by leading them to further sources of information.

The Queensland Government has recognised the development of a sustainable and profitable
aquaculture industry for Queensland.
Redclaw is one of the important sectors in which the Department of Primary Industries and
Fisheries has continued to support through traditional Research and Development and
Extension means over a number of years.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the QCFA on their promotion of the
Queensland Redclaw industry and wish them continued success for the future.
